He learned sword forging under his swordsmith father "Tadatsugu 忠次" who was a disciple of "Toshihide Horii堀井俊秀" and has won 2 excellent awords, 2 Shorei prises and 4 Doryoku prises in Shinsakuto exabition.
His sincere pursuit of reviving the "Kamakurta Ichimonji", "Minamoto no Kiyomaro" "Hizen noKuni Tadayoshi" resulted in forging less number of blades (the record says that he forged 60 blades in 12 years) thus gained a high profile as a distinguished swordsmith.

This sword is a (**)"Samonji Utsushi 左文字写し", his masterpiece creation which shows its very moist Tmamahagane texture and dazzles with its brilliant Saka Choji Hamon.. Defenetaly a collectible item for real Japanese sword lovers.
